Why do we read Quran, even if we can’t understand a single Arabic word??? This is a beautiful story.

An old American Muslim lived on a farm in the mountains of eastern Kentucky with his young grandson. Each morning Grandpa was up early sitting at the kitchen table reading his Quran. His grandson wanted to be just like
him and tried to imitate him in every way he could.

One day the grandson asked, ‘Grandpa! I try to read the Quran just like you but I don’t understand it, and what I do understand I forget as soon as I close the book. What good does reading the Qur’an do?’

Ever wonder what would happen if we treated our Quran like we treated our cell phone?

What if we carried it around in our purses or pockets?
What if we flipped through it several times a day?

What if we turned back to go get it if we forget it?

What if we used it to receive messages from the text?

What if we treated it like we couldn’t live without it?

What if we gave it to kids as gifts?

What if we used it when we traveled?

What if we used it in case of emergency?

This is something to make you go….hmm…where is my Quran?

Oh, and one more thing.

Unlike our cell phone, we don’t have to worry about our Quran being disconnected.

Makes you stop and think ‘what are my priorities? And no dropped calls!
