TANGGAL 15 Mei 1948 merupakan tarikh yang amat penting untuk disingkap oleh semua umat Islam di seluruh dunia. Tarikh penting tersebut adalah detik hitam bagi penduduk asal bumi Palestin, orang Arab dan dunia Islam secara keseluruhan- nya.
Pada tarikh tersebut, penubuhan negara haram Israel di atas bumi Palestin telah di- isytiharkan secara rasminya. Peristiwa tersebut turut dikenali sebagai ‘nakba’.
Nakba bermaksud malapetaka atau ben- cana besar. Dalam peristiwa nakbah, Yahudi Zionis telah bertindak kejam dengan mengusir lebih daripada 60 peratus rakyat Palestin (lebih kurang 800,000 orang daripada sejumlah 1.39 juta rakyat) ke luar ne- gara, manakala 30,000 yang lain telah di- usir ke daerah-daerah yang ditakluki mereka.

Simon Chen offers some tips on answering multiple choice and true or false questions.
Multiple choice questions (MCQs) are set by most British medical schools in examinations and often form a substantial component of written final exams. Many prize exams and postgraduate medical exams also incorporate MCQs into their assessments.
The most commonly used MCQ format is a stem question followed by five statements, each of which must be answered true, false, or dont know. Scoring MCQs may involve negative marking–a term which strikes fear into the heart of medical students the world over–in which one mark is awarded for a correct answer, one mark deducted for an incorrect answer, and no mark awarded or deducted for dont know.
Each year, students may unexpectedly fail written exams despite extensive preparation, not through lack of knowledge or intelligence, but simply because of poor exam technique. Candidates often find themselves leaving an MCQ exam completely unsure of how they have done. The way students approach MCQs, and their technique of answering, is important.
Preparation
The preparation required for an MCQ paper is different to that for an essay paper. For an essay paper, it is often possible to question spot commonly recurring topics and to plan your revision accordingly. But this is often not possible for MCQ examinations, in which the sheer quantity of questions tests a much broader range of the syllabus.

Mission to Xian, China is a Summer Project organized by Persatuan Pelajar Islam Malaysia Ireland & Penang Medical College ISOC, collaboration with Yayasan Amal Malaysia & China Muslim.

OBJECTIVES:
For the people in Xian provinces
- To provide free basic humanitarian and medical services with emphasis on women and children by having a mobile clinic.
- To provide basic “English classes” for the children in the area
For student volunteers
- To introduce students to the field of relief work.
- To allow students to experience real life problems and issues and tackle them appropriately
- To provide a training ground for students to work under pressure and working in teams
- To fulfill the elective requirements of clinical year students.
- To instil and produce future holistic doctors
