KEBIMBANGAN

Firman Allah S.W.T.:

“Orang-orang yang beriman dan tidak mencampur adukkan iman mereka dengan kezaliman (syirik), mereka itulah orang yang mendapat keamanan dan mereka itu ialah orang yang mendapat petunjuk.” (Maksud Surah al-An’am (6):82).

“Sesungguhnya syirik pastilah kezaliman yang sangat besar.”(Maksud Surah Luqman (31):13).

“Akan Kami masukkan ke dalam hati orang-orang kafir rasa takut, disebabkan mereka mempersekutukan Allah dengan sesuatu yang Allah sendiri tidak menurunkan keterangan tentang itu. Tempat kembali mereka ialah neraka; dan itulah seburuk-buruk tempat tinggal orang-orang yang zalim.” (Maksud Surah Ali ‘Imran (3):151).

Saya mulakan entri ini dengan memetik kata-kata Sir William Osler seperti di atas. Beliau merupakan seorang Canadian Physician yang terulung suatu ketika dahulu dan terkenal sebagai Father of Modern Medicine. Kalau difikirkan, mengapa beliau mengucapkan ungkapan sedemikian? Saya percaya bahawa beliau menganggap faith ataupun kepercayaan merupakan satu perkara yang wajib ada dalam diri setiap manusia, kerana tanpanya manusia akan lengah, lesu, lemah dan tidak akan mampu untuk menjalani kehidupan.

Sebagai seorang Muslim, soal kepercayaan atau keimanan adalah suatu perkara tunjang dalam agama yang wajar diberi perhatian. Kita diajar sejak dari kecil lagi untuk sentiasa meletakkan Allah sebagai kedudukan yang paling tinggi dalam kehidupan kita. Tidak ada satu apa pun dalam dunia ini yang layak diberikan kedudukan seperti ini kerana pendek kata, Allah adalah Pencipta Sekalian Alam dan Dialah yang turut menciptakan apa yang berlaku ke atas diri kita.

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim..

Such a long day.. I took a deep breath as deep as I can..as if the breath am taking, would take all the sorrows and lethargy  away..rather than wasting my time staring at the empty spaces, might as well fill it with something wonderful. So, the favourite moment of the day ( Remember folks, reward system! One way to appreciate one-self is to do what one love after working so very hard!) is to cracked open whatever packages or letters that being received that day..Without hesitance,  I grabbed the newly purchased “The Unsinkable Soul, Chicken Soup for the Soul”, taking it out from its bubbly white envelope..Eagerly, I flipped through its crispy pages and treasured every stories being unfold in every turns..Yee must be wondering (are yee not?:)) what is the significant of all the details above..The significance is that I want to share and dedicate this particular poem that I came across in the book to yee all. To all souls on Earth that still keep strong and steadfast in fighting and struggling to get through with life and its turbulence to fulfil our ‘amanah as His caliph.. I found that this poem is enlightening and alleviate me from within..brace yourself and try to read and appreciate what it says, line by line..

Tribute to Mas Afzal Masarudin

There is a boy who wishes to accomplish many things in his life. He worked his socks off in school, strived for excellence and eventually garnered top grades in his studies. He wanted to fulfill his lifelong ambition of becoming a good doctor, and his wishes came true when he was offered a scholarship to pursue medicine.

Until this point of time, life has always gone by his wishes. What he aspired in life all came true. Growing from a little child into adulthood has been a rewarding experience for him, one filled with joy and happiness. Even though there were bumps along the way, he felt that nothing could stop his march towards achieving great things in life.

But this is when his life took a turn for the worst, as he is afflicted with a test he has never thought could jeopardize all his plans. He might not be able to live up to his dreams of being the best doctor possible. He possibly has to forget his plans of having his own ideal family and his very own beautiful children. The so many great things he aspire in life might just in the end, be dreams.

This is a story of a boy who has faced so many trials and tribulations.

And this is his story about HOPE…
