I read a post by one of my friend about kind people in other words, good people.
She wrote about a ‘kuih’ seller who had to run off whenever there were raids on illegal seller
Whom despite facing that risk & difficulties every day were nice enough to give extra curry puff for her
which made her day made me ponder on the question of being good.
Honestly, I’m not so good and not that bad either, but if i were to choose between the two,
I’d rather do good than do bad things that wont give me any good if i become bad.
Thing is, in this world, its hard to find good people. Honest people especially
Too many pretenders, too many backstabbers, too many kind of people that you just don’t know what their intention to be friends with us for their own reason.

The Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu ‘Alayhi wa sallam informed us in a very famous tradition, commonly quoted with reference to halal and haram, about the importance of the heart. He said :
“There is in the body a clump of flesh – if it becomes good, the whole body becomes good and if it becomes bad, the whole body becomes bad. And indeed it is the heart.”
[The hadith in full:- Bukhary, Volume 1, Book 2, Number 49: Narrated An-Nu'man bin Bashir: I heard Allah's Apostle saying, 'Both legal and illegal things are evident but in between them there are doubtful (suspicious) things and most of the people have no knowledge about them. So whoever saves himself from these suspicious things saves his religion and his honor. And whoever indulges in these suspicious things is like a shepherd who grazes (his animals) near the Hima (private pasture) of someone else and at any moment he is liable to get in it. (O people!) Beware! Every king has a Hima and the Hima of Allah on the earth is His illegal (forbidden) things. Beware! There is a piece of flesh in the body if it becomes good (reformed) the whole body becomes good but if it gets spoilt the whole body gets spoilt and that is the heart.]
He said that after explaining that the halal is clear and that the haram is clear and that between them are obscure areas, not known to most people. However, what protects a person from the haram and ensures that he remains in the halal is knowledge; but beyond knowledge, it is the state of the heart. If the heart is good, then it makes use of the knowledge and it avoids what is prohibited. If the heart is bad, then the knowledge is of no benefit to it and it will indulge in what is prohibited.

Assalamualaikum wrt wbt
Melihat keadaan kehiduan Rasulullah s.a.w, hati Saidina Umar menjadi terharu sehinga mengalir air matanya. Keadaan itu menyebabkan Rasulullah menegurnya, “Apakah sebabnya engkau mengalirkan air matamu, ya Umar?”

For GIVE ness..
The other day, Asraf Ismail shared with me a beautiful story of a sahabah, named Abdullah Ibnu Umar, the son of the 2nd Caliph, Umar Al Khattab about he was robbed in the market. When people realized he was robbed, people started to pray for destruction over the one who robbed the son of the Caliph. But then, Ibnu Umar raised his hand and ask for forgiveness from Allah to that person who robbed him. Then, everyone was astounded. That’s the beauty of forgiveness.
Then, today I read a story about Matthew Henry in a book I’m reading. Matthew Henry lived in the eighteenth century. When he was robbed, he wrote the following in his diary:
“ Let me be thankful first because I was never robbed before, second, although they took my purse, they did not take my life, third, because although they took my all, it was not much, and fourth because it was I who was robbed, not I who robbed”

Superiority
I just want to look back to where I started not long ago because now I seem to forget where I used to be. I started off very humble, feeling inferior, never thought of him to be any better than anyone else. Where did the humility come from? It is because i just know how lack of knowledge I am, how incapable I am, how small I am in the eyes not only Allah but the whole world. I feel small whenever i face the people, because i always realize I’m lacking in every aspect.
I just love it so much when people giving you advices to improve myself. People started to teach me a lot of things because I humbly seek for it. They were always there; ready to pull me up whenever I’m down. I always ask questions then for the sake of wanting to know. I just open all doors to correct my mistakes. When I read book, it’s merely because I want to know. I just love and thankful how Allah giving me chance to all this things. So life is full of happiness and satisfaction.
