Ablution and health purity
Allah says; “O believers, when you stand up to pray, wash your faces, and your hands up to the elbows, and wipe your heads, and your feet up to the ankles.  If you are defiled, purify yourselves…” (5:6)

Ablution is the weapon of the faithful:

·        Ablution is not just cleaning the external organs several times a day before prayers.  The psychological and spiritual impact felt by the Moslem after ablution is more deeper than words can express, particularly when perfecting ablution.  Ablution plays an important role in the life of the Moslem, as it keeps him always in a state of vitality, vigilance and fitness.  The Prophet (PBUH) said; “He who performs ablution, and perfects it, his sins would come out from his body, till they pass out from under his nails.”

Study is the priority, but da’awa is not the second

Sekarang, alhamdulillah, baru saya sedari, pepatah ni tak beberapa sesuai sebenarnya.

Seperti lucu bunyinya. Tapi itulah silap saya selama ini!

Lainlah kalau kita bandingkan:

Assalamualaikum,

Mari kenali Deborah Dapper.

Selamat menonton

Knowing the Place You Are Living In

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim, Alhamdulillahi Robbil ‘Alamin wa Sayyidi Umurid Dunya wad Deen, Amma Ba’d,

Assalamualaikum again,

Let’s talk today on the universe we are living in since we are supposed to know what we are in and the fact that I’m currently reading ‘The Universe in A Nutshell’ by Stephen Hawking. Many scientists now believe in the Big Bang theory for the beginning of this lovely universe we are in; saying that this huge universe had actually started from a small extremely condensed energy. If you know of supernova, where a star exploding and scattering its materials and the energy in it to the surrounding space, then you’ll know what I mean.

Supernova = Stellar Explosion

This theory has caused a stirring up of the religious communities for it aligns well with the belief of God. In Islam, this is much or less a merit for our arguments against atheism; BUT we should be aware that Science doesn’t dictate how Islam is understood for we should know that Muslims are to put our Iman before our Aqal, lest we will be just like the atheist scientists who study and investigate the world we are living in but blinded by the avarice of their desires and uncontrolled dependence on their limited power of the mind. Even till today, we are seeing a great number of people of the Sciences who transgress from their belief of the existence of God.

Allah asked us to study and observe the nature in order to find Hidayah that Allah lays out for us. Allah asked the non-believers in Suratul Ghoshiah, verses 17-20: “Do they not look at the camels, how they were created? And at the heaven, how it was raised? And at the mountains, how they were rooted? And at the earth, how it was spread?” I can write more verses showing the importance of thinking and observing our surroundings for the sake of seeking the truth about Allah’s greatness but I rest this for you, O readers, to search them on your own, because I have another agenda in mind.

Assalamualaikum wrt wbt..

Stages of Change, it might sound really familiar to some especially medical students because you might happen to learn it in the Behavioral Science class or tutorial. But bear with me for a while. We may practically use it in medical career but it is also very useful as a tool of self improvement and da’wah.

Sometimes, I need to be a verbal ninja

You don’t want to act like a ‘verbal’ ninja. Your heart, however, kept pounding hard; you can feel the blood-rush. Before you explode, better kick the ‘fella’ responsible for the whole mess (imaginary). Gosh!! Just another day of looking at the same rubbish- and yes, I mean real dirty rubbish.

Cleanliness is much more than outward appearance. It is an all-embracing ethic of sound living. It is also a state of mind and heart that reflects our morals and worship.

Islam places great emphasis on cleanliness, in both its physical and spiritual aspects. On the physical side, Islam requires the Muslim to clean his body, his clothes, his house, and the whole community, and he is rewarded by Allah for doing so. While people generally consider cleanliness a desirable attribute, Islam insists on it, making it an indispensable fundamental of the faith. A muslim is required to be pure morally and spiritually as well as physically. Through the Qur’an and Sunnah Islam requires the sincere believer to sanitize and purify his entire way of life. In the Qur’an, Allah commends those who are accustomed to cleanliness:

“Allah loves those who turn to Him constantly and He loves those who keep themselves pure and clean.” (2: 222)
